Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

I ordered 3 of their Fettuccine Alfredo thinking that the presented image that consisted of "Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo" with the addition of "Mushrooms" was the actual final product. I even called in to order extra shrimp for each plate to expedite dinner for the night but what I received was not exactly what's in the images and the portion size for the price was very small. Don't get me wrong the food was still hot to the touch and the flavor is solid, however the portion size was a big letdown. The Garlic Knots are tasteful, but nothing like Big Joe's (the one on Denton Hwy) and nowhere as cheap. I was hoping for a worthy competitor as I had to stay late with work and wouldn't have made it to Big Joe's, but seeing the quality I received I don't intend on returning any time soon even if the food is covered by the restaurant or management. I'll just take my picky and cheap ahh back to the kitchen and eat at midnight knowing I'm getting the quality I expect every time at home. The real bummer is that the service was very friendly both on the phone and in person but I was already hungry & irritated from work that I just ate my 3 small and overpriced Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp in

Love it here! I’ve been coming to Alex’s Pizza and Pasta for several years, and the food has always been consistently delicious. The pizza is hands-down one of my favorites, but what really keeps me coming back is the outstanding customer service!!! Today I finally learned that the friendly gentleman who always greets customers with a huge smile is actually the owner, Mesmen. Every time I visit, he’s welcoming, kind, and genuinely appreciative of his customers. It’s rare to find someone who takes so much pride in both their food and the customer experience. Great pizza, great atmosphere, and exceptional service. I’ll definitely continue coming back and recommending Alex’s Pizza and Pasta to friends and family. Thank you, Mesmen, for always making customers feel valued!πŸ’š Forever a loyal customer.

The food here is inconsistent to me, I ordered on a Friday night and my pizza came with puddles of oil, the cheese was sloughing off and it was a terrible texture. Sometimes there's an hour wait for no reason. Another time I went I waited inside for 35 minutes after placing a pickup order 20 minutes prior for one large pizza....there was also no one inside. The girl cashier didn't let me know anything, I had to go up and ask after waiting 20-30 Mins and then suddenly my pizza was finished. Service needs to improve. A large group had came while I was waiting and 2 of the staff made a big huff about it....with an empty restaurant. I've also ordered delivery from their website and the delivery person threw the box on the ground - this wasn't through DoorDash this was a worker there.

First time trying Alex and the pizza was pretty good. Very cheesy and flavorful. More on the floppy side for me, especially with the one topping pizzas. The works pizza with all the meat and green peppers held up better. The wings were very yummy though and had a great crunch. Overall a pretty good place for New York style pizza and wings.
